Bonjour from England

April 12, 2011 at 10:40am
Bonjour Mes Ami,
This time in the race we went to London England. It was beautiful! We had to find out information on British Monarchy, and Royalty in England. Then we had to find the London Eye, which is a large ferris wheel! It was amazing! Then we had to complete a Londen Eye slide puzzle, we had trouble with that! After that we had to go to Stone Henge, and make a miniature version of it, and the Heelstone. Then Maria had to find out how to make a "99". A "99" is an ice cream cone filled with soft ice cream, and there is a stick of chocolate in it! Then Maria had to eat it! She ate it fast, but not as fast as I ate that Black Forest cake in Germany! After that there was a yield! We yielded Team N.B.A., and Team Super Stripes yielded us. I may not have told you this, but when I was sailing I hired a fortune teller, and she taught me how to read the future! Now I see REVENGE in Team Super Stripes future! After that, we had to go to the clock tower, Big Ben, and find out it was completed on April 10, 1858. When we finished that we had to play Rugby, and make it around a post and back without dropping the ball. It wasn't the actual game of Rugby but it was somewhat Rugby. For the pit-stop we had to go to a location that has the London Eye and the Thames river near it. We finished, and ended up getting in 8th place, thanks to Team Super Stripes!  Not our best race, but this week we are all starting with the same amount of time. Finally when the race was over, we went to the Imperial War Museum! There was amazing things in the museum! That's all for now!

Good Sailing,
Rachel Dubois
P.S.Here is a Picture of the pit-stop! ( London Eye)
