Bonjour Everyone,
Today in the race we went to Athens, Greece, and we didn't stink this time! Well, we kinda did, but I'll get to that in a minute! We had to find the Greek temple called "The Temple of Olympian Zeus". After that we had to find the two rules for Pankration which is a kind of fighting they do in Greece!. The rules were no biting and no eye gouging. Once that was done, there was a roadblock where we had to hit targets with frisbees, Maria tried and couldn't do it, then I tried and I got it the first time! Next we had to find out was instrument George Dalaras played, the answer was a Bouzouki. It is a string instrument and it is similar to a lute. Then, we had to roll dice and depending on the numbers we roll, we can get bad luck of good luck. We got bad luck, but it only made us smell bad! After the bad luck, we looked up the largest Greek island called Crete. Lastly, we had to get on boat and we got to the pit-stop. After all that, we came in 3rd place! After the race was over and Maria and I got the stench off, we went for a Greek cooking lesson. Now we know how to cook Greek food! Thats all for today!
Good Sailing,
Rachel Dubois
P.S. Here is a picture of "The Temple of Olympian Zeus".
